what's seattletechradio?

seattletechradio is a new online community for people who live in (or like!) the central Puget Sound region to talk about what interests them - particularly technology and radio, but just about any subject is open for discussion.

why should I join?

why not? take the opportunity to become part of a unique, easygoing group that enjoys fun conversation, a thoughtful exchange of ideas, and answering questions (we'll happily help you troubleshoot computer problems!)

what are the rules?

there's really just one rule at present - be friendly and courteous to your fellow community members! by joining you agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or similiarly offensive material. seattletechradio is a place for open discussion and free expression. you can freely share your thoughts, your creations, your personality, and your interests.

are there any perks for members?

naturally! unlike other forums, we run the latest and greatest forum software (phpbb3) which is fully loaded with great features. we give out fun custom ranks upon request, allow users to upload their own avatars, and permit the attachment of files. you can also subscribe to get e-mail notifications when somebody else posts to a forum.

how do I join?

just follow the link to registration. you only need to provide an e-mail address and select a desired username and password, any other details are completely optional. you do not need to wait for your account to be activated or approved – we won’t force activation until the spam bots find us!
